How do you counter Eve?

Not even trying to lie. I don't understand what you are supposed to do to even counter her. Most of the games she is in, she wins because she cannot be detected period. There's only a few times that she is ever visible and it's only because of pinks which are limited to 1 per person and in addition do not always reveal her. So.... how are you even supposed to play against someone who gets the jump on you, does incredible burst damage and on a non ult can run as fast as master yi. I'd really like to know what to do. I even tried building magic resist and armor but she practically gets kills for free and snowballs lanes to the point where that is not useful.

I am not saying she is overpowered I just seriously want to know what I am supposed to do against that. Two losses because of that is enough for me to ask for help.

Depends on your role. She has hardly any teamfight potential and doesn't seem to do well versus comps with cc. So if you're bot lane as a support, pick a tank.

None of this actually counters her. She gets most of her kills during her skirmishes early game. Even though you are saying she has weak teamfight potential, picking off an enemy because she cannot be detected beforehand really spits on that idea. Also she moves faster than anyone besides lee and Warwick. I had to play a game as adc against her. You get picked off long before your tank can react. Her burst is quite huge and reacting to it is harder than them setting it up especially if you can't see her.

"Just run away... from the invisible person..." Is how you counter the invisible person... chasing you that you can't detect lol...

Yeah farming her jungle counters her but she makes more money in kills than she does farming. In a straight fight early game any champ probably can beat her but most of her fights are 2v1 or 3+v2 and aren't straight lol.

If 1 pink per person is all we get to counter this... then yeah I might have to make the leap and call her overpowered...

Control wards do reveal her at all time, I don't know what you're talking about. That being said, you cannot have a control ward on all entrances leading to your lane, so that's not enough. Playing versus Eve is hard. Watch your minimap, and if you see her on the other side of the map, you know you have 30s-1 min before she can be on your side again. If you can't see her, assume she's in your lane, always. Yes, you will lose CS and give up pressure to your laner, but that's still better than dying. If you don't let her snowball, she's not very powerful late game, so even if you have to give them a small lead, you should be able to out-scale her in late game.

It is very important to ward near camps e.g, raptors if you're mid. Doing so allows you to see her when she is clearing the camp, and tells you where she is on the map and where she is heading (after she clears the camp).

Vision. Eve has to be visible when doing certain things like taking camps, so ward around her jungle to detect her. Buy shit tons of control wards too.

Kill her at her camps.
Don't push your lane in unless you've killed the other laners.
Get a little HP and MR.

So basically no counterplay. She for the most of early game isn't even farming from what I can tell. I was playing a jungler had 70 farm and she had 12 but was 5/0... I can't play for other lanes and getting hp and mr vs a 5/0 opponent doesn't do crap unless your team is gathered and can actually hit the target before they are hit. With limited detection this person is basically cruising around getting kills for free with these versions of 'countering'. Hp and mr are defensive choices yes but you have to have gold for that. Even 450 gold for a null magic is expensive for junglers who are usually weak who are behind compared to all lanes except bot. To buy a null magic in lane before getting ganked by eve with red is actually not likely as they start the game at level 2 and this same stealth. Yeah not seeing this as a mechanic that can be played against. Hard to know what camp she is at without vision of it and you don't even get the ranged regular ward until level 9, by then if she is good, she has snowballed because of limited detection.

If you saw her top side you could use that opportunity to place a deep ward by her bot side buff or other camps which she will be visible to clear.
