Because in my last game, my partners said "we need to stop Ahri from pushing mid, Yorick (me) can handle the 4 at bot" I objected with "that doesn't make sense guys, Malz can easily take her on", then they said "Ahri is too op to 1v1, even as her counter"
seriously, people take this "ahri op" thing way too far, because they act like dumbass' when she's around.

I recently did Fiora mid (I suck with Fiora, just recently bought her and learning her.) against an Ahri. Admittedly, not the best laning phase ever, but I played the lane right and she was wary. All it takes is good communication and win. And I did this with normal blinds of all things too.

Same deal with the ult, 3 casts that can shoot 3 bolts that each lost 5%, for the entire 3 casts of her ult that's a minimum of 15% against a single target and 45% against 3 targets.

but they dont understand why.
She does decent damage at best, but she isnt going to 1v9 unless super far ahead and even then a good handful of other mages could do it better.
her strength is her safe in lane which makes her impossible to shut down and impossible to set behind at times. ( assuming the ahri plays ti correctly)
