Seriously, the guy's 100% based around this stuff so why not just integrate it into his kit if Rylais gets changed to no longer be an option?

Or one option is to make Nightfall an item unique to Mordekaiser (kind of like Viktors Hex Cores) which would work the same way as Rylais (stats can be changed ofc to balance Mordekaiser)
A relatively easy way to buff Morde would be to give bonus effects on his abilities when he maxes out his shield gauge, and as long as he keeps 50% of the gauge full he will retain those effects. This would be tied to his passive, so when the gauge falls below half, it basically goes on cooldown for however many seconds (just the bonus effects mind you, not the ability to gain shield). Whether he gets a different effect for each ability or a similar effect for all or even a mix of both would be up to RITO.

You guys are making this way too complicated. All they would have to do would be to give him some actual movespeed, a couple stat adjustments for the new items he'll have to buy, and there, a champion, with a shitty kit, but at least not a trashy one with needlessly tacked on stats just to make him viable.
What if this was changed so that is slows on all physical damage? ...Who would be broken?
I had brought up this idea before but maybe a MS drain on his ult, a root on his W, and maybe a MS boost to champions hit by either his Q or E. So not hard cc or slows, but something completely different. Maybe even a tether on his ult where the enemy champion can inly go x distance away without being pulled tonhim?
(Just ideas, nothing completely thought out.)
How about doing the inverse and giving Morde a speed boost when he hits abilities?
