Can Mundo's Q Please Get Changes?

Flat health cost that dips into irrelevancy because of the sheer amount of tank Mundo builds (and half-cost refund on a hit), current health magic damage with a minimum damage threshold, 4 second cooldown (3.6 because you never don't build Spirit Visage), and the slow is 2 seconds long on its own. Multiple times I've fought Mundos who just had to land a Q, then could essentially perma-slow me to death because once you're close enough, it's not even a matter of skill- it's a matter of spamming Q. Mundo can just perma-slow someone, get them into range of Burning Agony, and then just point-blank Q until you're dead. And because it's Mundo, you can't 1v1 him. This isn't about viability or balance, this is about fun. Being perma-slowed to death by a champion and not being able to do anything just is not fun. Especially when it's a full-tank champion like Mundo that most champions can't fight one on one.

So could Mundo's Infected Cleavers get some sort of change, please? Perhaps the slow increases with Q level, maybe it becomes slower at base but stacks? If I can't fight Mundo, I at least want to have the option of getting away. Sure Burning Agony and Sadism is a goddamn pain in the ass, but the sheer inability to get away is in my opinion way more cancerous. I'd like it if Mundo has to actually work for the perma-slow, not just land a couple of mid-range cleavers and then get a free kill by spamming point-blank Qs.

/end pathetic begging and ranting

EDIT: And yes I see I repeated myself to the point of idiotic redundancy. I'm tired and annoyed, shaddup.

So what, you want Mundo to be completely incapable of sticking onto a target? No thanks.

Completely incapable? Nah.

But Mundo has some serious sustainable and almost free-cost poke, as the health refund from his Q actually procs as a heal, meaning it works on both Runic Armor and Spirit Visage. I don't like that he can freely spam it to wear down any enemy unfortunate enough to not have a mobility tool while having significant poke that no other tank has WHILE still building tanky.

I don't want Mundo to be "completely incapable". I want Mundo to have to work for that stickiness.

Dude's like a nasus with a 2 second cooldown wither.

Please don't mention Nasus. I have serious issues with him as well and eagerly await notice of whatever Riot has in plan for him.

They wont do anything to him since most people suck on him.

He has clear strengths and weaknesses and if a team doesn't focus them, that is the teams problems, not the champ. Gank him like 2-3 times early and he is over. If your top laner isn't retarded and lets him free farm then he will never be worth a damn since he has no gold so not tanky, hasnt stacked so no damage=worthless.

As to Mundo, he is a bit strong but the issue is his Q is his only source of CC. There really isn't much room they can do for it. They can reduce its damage but from your thread it seems you are complaining about the slow than its damage.

I mean as it is you can basically ignore Mundo anyways. That is how you beat him after all. Ignore him and kill his team, then 5 man pile him. Sure he most likely will kill someone during that time but woo 1 for 4, that isnt worth crap.

I will agree he is strong right now but not really sure what to do about it, just play draft and keep him banned. Riot will get the hint after a while when he is permabanned and reduce him.

I'm.... not gonna start on Nasus. I'm just gonna summarize it with this: Whether or not you can counterplay Nasus is essentially determined at champion select, rather than the respective skills of the players. That is my opinion on him.

The damage is part of the problem, honestly. He's a tank with significant poke and the potential for a perma-slow. The fact that he can do significant damage without building a single goddamn ounce of it... Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out.

I don't like that he can perma-slow because at a certain point there's nothing you can do about it. Olaf's permaslow is balanced by a menagerie of factors, Ashe sacrifices raw damage, and Frozen Mallet is a significant investment. Mundo? He just has to slow you enough to get Burning Agony within range, then spam point-blank Q's that are impossible to dodge. That's just... it's not fun, man. Utter inevitability like that with no room to escape or fight or counterplay is unfun and unsatisfying.
