When people say better [role] wins

It basically means that they don't know wtf to do to carry a game in their chosen role and blaming it on another instead.

I've played all the roles over the years and learned to rank up comfortably in 3 of them. You also see top players main one role yet able to do to the others, so how are they ranking up in that role when others claim only better mid/adc/jg/supp/top wins?

"better x wins"

people just use that in frustration, where x is just whoever performed the worst according to the TAB menu. if you tracked someone who says this a few times you can safely bet it will change to whoever did the worst.

There are several issues with your point.

  • The reason you had to use [role] instead of specifying a role is because of one major flaw with your point-- the [role] changes when there are large changes to the game. After the Mage update, better mid won, after the dragon update, better bot won. So often times the one complaining, who isn't playing that role, has little chance if someone else gets ahead.

  • Your experience means very little. As I said, the game changes. If you've been changing your role over the years, you're proving the point that you can't stay in one role and carry in a game state where a different role has far more carry potential. And, taking this with a grain of salt from someone who doesn't care about playing ranked for added stress, you haven't "ranked up", you've been hard-stuck gold for five seasons. So your argument that you've been able to rank up in 3 roles is all around false.

Lolz. I only say this when it's someone on my team who is winning hard... And playing their position... And never about myself. And they have to be winning hard enough that it probably is an elo mismatch. And I'm serious that I only say it when it's my own team mate winning hard. NEVER SAY IT WHEN OTHER TEAM IS WINNING. That would be toxic af.
