Why no one play Tanks

GhostOfTsushima··1 votes·2,125 views

Because people play this game "to have fun"

Tank = No Fun

Because people think they can carry game

Yasuo = What a Joke

Because they have literally 0 idea of what this game Riot consider is a "Team Game"

Team = 1v9

Because Tank are way to "HARD TO PLAY"

Leona = Very Hard, Very Mechnical, Require 200 IQ to Play

Because most of the time as an engage champion your team is braindead and they have the wrong focus. They don't follow you up and never add pressure and you have to help them, but you lose XP and CS and they end up doing nothing. No pressure, no wave control, nothing.

I play almost exclusively tanks because I find getting one shot by tripping on a pebble to be the most anti-fun thing possible.

How to play a Tank from ahead...

  1. Engage, are they dead?, if yes you are done, if not go to 2
  2. Engage, are they dead?, if yes you are done, if not go to 1

How to play a Tank from behind...

  1. Calculate the max damage the enemy team can do on you if you go in. Would you survive?
  2. Calculate the amount of time you can reliable CC the target
  3. Calculate the max damage your tam can do during your CC. Would the target die?
  4. Check for Summoners spells
  5. Check for defensive items active
  6. Check for enemy CC
  7. Check if waves are in position.
  8. Maybe go in? If all of the above is favorable

Failing to check all those steps will mean you just successfully bad your team into a bad team fight. Sure mechanics are not hard at all, but that doesn't mean they a had to play, it just means most of it is just hidden from plain view. A lot of mental process and a lot of little details you gotta keep track of

check the ADC decision making instead

How to play a ADC from ahead...

  1. Group with team
  2. Engage or siege

How to play a ADC from behind..

  1. Stay on the backline
  2. Hit whatever is in from of you
  3. Dodge whatever is thrown at you (the mechanical part)

I don't know what you are on about. But let me just say this, the least played Intended Tank is currently Poppy who stands in spot 30th most played champion in top out of 48 spots. Even Singed jungle is played more Pantheon and Ekko jungle....

Tanks are very fun, but they are very hard to play cause of their low damage output and low mobility. Why are you saying Yasuo is a joke? Yasuo is currently a META pick in Korea challenger. Please reconsider.

Also Saying Leona takes 200 IQ to play is very wrong. It takes around 80 IQ to play her at an adaptable level. My IQ is currently 60, I have a very hard time playing her, but at least I know how to play her at a average level.

The "Team = 1v9" Sounds like someone who just got banned for 14 days. Please don't bring up such hatred towards your team here, It only causes problems.
