Is it just me or is it really frustrating to hear in champ select:
"ADC GUYZ! I'M AN ADC MAIN AND IT'S THE ONLY LANE I PLAY!"
Then this "adc main" proceeds to fail miserably at last hitting because they're, "not on their main adc" and feeds furiously.
Unfortunately it's what I'm seeing in almost every one of my games lately, in every lane. Someone says main that role when really they just enjoy playing that role and are actually sub-par at playing it.
redniwediS4 votesYou're mistaking those with a main role and those with only one role. In order to have a main role you have to have more than one role.
It's like saying something is your favorite flavor when there's only one flavor. It's technically true, but completely misrepresents the situation.
People like that are not actually mains. They are using a lie to get their way.

I'm saying that its frustrating to see people say that when they are really just a subpar player and unable to play multiple roles.

If you mean the players that are maining an AD carry right now? No, you shouldn't trust them until the dust has settled after the ADC rework. Remember those players that said they mained Kindred after she came out? That was a similar deal, they weren't exactly the most reliable and they didn't warm up well to seeing her be banned in champ select so often. They also take Warrior on Kindred which is terrible and doesn't promote her gameplay style like Devourer does :^)

I have a lot to argue about that. Warrior gives arpen that synergizes with botrk and the passive on-hit of Kindred, to get stacks she needs to get something done, by either going into the enemy jungle or killing someone, so you don't really get that much by just farming your own jungle ; and last one overall sated devourer is pretty garbage on ranged champions since the huge nerf it got (every 4th on-hit instead of 2nd if ranged). Devourer still has decent synergy with Kindred, but Warrior just as well. I think Warrior would be actually a more competitive choice on Kindred, and that comes from a guy that mains champions that farm a lot (Yi, Jax, Nasus) and loves devourer.
