@Riot Update on Tribunal rework?

So I've heard time and again that the tribunal re-work is coming, but again all I see over and over is new champs, new releases, champ reworks and the like. The fact remains that this community is complete and utter trash in the levels of play where most of your players are, mid to high Silver. I'm not the best player by far but when I'm consistently (IE 4/8 matches) getting a troll, an afk, or a player who for w/e reason has it in their head that its fun to ruin other people's games there is a problem.

The Honor Ribbon system worked fantastic until Riot changed the requirements to get a ribbon so that they're so high that almost no one has one and the reward system for acquiring them was never fleshed out.

I've been playing this game since S1 and at the moment I'm considering just outright quitting as Riot refuses to do anything to fix these problems, or even give solid updates on what is going on.

If I correctly remember, I saw something about them recruiting new Tribunal members for the upcoming rework...I'm unable to find the link at this time, but I'll edit my post if I can ever find the discussion.

Not going to disagree with you regarding clarity -- mum has been much of the word, unfortunately.

I, too, am interested in knowing this.

I share your sentiments. I had been a regular Tribunal voter, and I am anxious for an update on the improvement of the system. The old Tribunal was far too lenient, requiring dozens of toxic games before someone was even considered for punishment. I also feel that all smurf accounts should be somehow linked (invisibly) to their player, so that a ban is really a ban. As for Honor; I consistently get it from a wide variety of players I've never met before, and I have yet to receive a ribbon. I have no idea how this is calculated. One of speculations is something Riot mentioned about trying to curb "honor-trading," by negating any honor gained by people who have honored each other more than once. My real-life friends and I sometimes get excited after a game and honor each other, even though we have before, and I wonder if this shows up in their "system" as "honor-trading." It would make more sense if the excess/repeated honor is simply not counted at all, rather than punishing people for honoring someone again.
