Is it time for me to quit?

I have been playing league for almost 2 years now I think. S3 was my first ranked, I finished in silver. The start of this season I won 7/10 placement and was put into B2 or B3. Quickly I went up to B1 Almost was in silver then literally lost every game down to B4 and spent most of this season there.

Story of the season for me is for every hard fought 55min game I would have, the next game I would have an afk or someone who doesn't listen/feed. Now all that work is completely undone by something out of my control. A lot of people tell me that if I deserved to be out of bronze I would carry my team, but if I am 2-0, I am most likely not going to be able to take down the 6-0 that one of my lanes fed.

I guess the fact that whether I win or lose is based on what teammates I get than my own skill, really takes away the fun. Being in the lower brackets, while I take the game serious most people have this attitude "W/e idc this is bronze, not like it matters". Constantly dealing with trolls/afks/feeders has made the game more about dealing with stress and controlling my temper than enjoying the competition. Now that it has become that way for me is it best to walk away?

I know this was a lot, but thank you if you took the time to read this.

**One last thing, are people who are not from NA actually supposed to be able to play on our server|? I can't even play in the mornings anymore because I usually get a team of people who speak broken English or even none at all.

|The game is still a blast for me, some days are great, but most are bad due to the community of players I find in SoloQ

Yah a break is probably a good idea, but it would just becoming back to same thing. Riot doesn't seem to have any intention, it seems, on fixing or at least helping protecting the serious players from the ones blatantly are there just to bring others down. Everyone reports but nothing changes.

I'd play with friends if I had any that played league lol. I I tried to get some to play but none of them really got into the game.

Thanks for the feedback guys

whenever league gets annoying i take like a 1-2 week break, come back and feel refreshed, i wouldn't say you need to quit permanently, just take a haitus from it, sooner or later you will want to return (atleast for me), also try finding some friends to play with, even when were losing, were having some fun messing around and stuff.

Which server you play on is an option, not a requirement. Anyone can play anywhere.

As for the rest of your post do you still enjoy the game? I don't mean to ask if you are having fun, I mean is League something you want to play. If you do still enjoy League but are not having fun you should take a break. I find one to two weeks to be a fair enough span of time to clear one's head completely.

At the end of the day this is a game, and while it is very competitive whether you play it or not should be based on how much it is adding to your life, not how much it takes away.

This season i had two pretty ugly losing streaks. I got into gold IV after my preranked matches (8/10), then slowly i got into the top of gold III. Then came the first losing streak, i got down to gold V 0 Lp and i didnt play rankeds for nearly two weeks because i was scared that i could go down to silver. Then i said to myself one day: "fuck it." I just started a ranked and then i went on a huge winstreak, i got into gold I 0 Lp. Then came another tilt, but i stopped right after 4-5 losses. I admit, there were games when i was so disappointed and sad that i left a game because i couldnt focus on anything. And leaving the game is sacrilige in my book too. However, after not playing for a while, i got to platinum V, wich is nice. ;D
