Why didn't Riot use this as an opportunity to make her AD? I mean, she uses knives and crud, she has nothing magical about her. And AD itemization on her would be fun. I'm legit asking, why wasn't she made AD like every other knife/sword/claw assassin?

The Youmuu's and Duskblade are being changed to Lethality, however, which from what I can tell, isn't going to be very effective against targets with bonus armor.
The cleaver I'll give you, but then again, Garen spinning into you would accomplish the same thing. Hell, Jarvan's Q does it instantly. Wukong's ult would apply full stacks without you being able to react. There's already a ton of AoE Cleaver application as it is. But, if it really was a problem for Katarina to apply it, they could give it the Fervor of Battle treatment, abilities only proc it on the target once every two seconds.

My bigger question was... ppl kept cryin g she should be more balanced now and "harder"... From what I see, this kit needs less skill and it's broken as hell, especially if the numbers I heard she'll have are true... This is basically pointless to make her from fine to this... I'll be a shamed to claim that I played Kata for 8 years after this gets released, because this is just stupidly broken... Plus her mobility is cut like hell considering "escape" and "outplay" potential... The only "Added" mobility is the fact I can shunpo 3 times without getting a kill in a small difference of locations, because Q doesn't have that big of a range to start with and that forces me to use my old location for W, which basically means you know where I'll go anyway, so basically I got nearly no escape anyway... so basically... wth... there's no mobility as they said compensating the ward jump, there's no "more skilled kit" and there's no "balance"...
So my question is... is this a joke or is it legit?
