Anivia is weak against champions who outrange her e, or ad assassins. Xerath, Azir, Velkoz, Talon, etc.

Anivia isn't that great 1v1, she mostly shines in team-fights and the pre-team-fight phases of sieging. Ditto for Jinx and Cassi.

With mages they need to land fairly predictable, telegraphed skillshots to set up their QWER combo. Dodge the set-up (or grab Banshee's Veil) and you pretty much end their 1v1 potential until that set-up skill is off cooldown again. Anivia's skillshot is an unimpressive 4 mph ball of ice, dodge that and you're generally good. Also - you can run at Aniva to dodge things should she get crafty with walls and glacial storms. She doesn't get any tougher the closer you get to her, so there's no point getting stuck in her blizzard trying to escape when you could just move towards her and smack her upside the head.

As for counter-picks: Assassins and Fighters tend to be the champions that win from 1v1 tactics. They tend to be inversely bad at team-fights and sieges. Assassins will usually kill a mage or marksman in lane, a fighter will usually kill anything in a 1v1. Aniva really struggles against most assassins in lane.

I don't think at any stage of the game, can she realistically 100-0 someone with only 1 rotation of QER. She needs atleast a second E.
