You never even tried to make Dominion popular, and you blame us for its demise?

Riot, you never gave anything for Dominion pretty much since its release. You wouldn't take a small bruise for it. You never removed its bots, you never updated its graphics, you never did anything but let it get raped in the gutter you left it in by bots and now you're removing it on the basis that not enough people play it? I WONDER WHY?!

Seriously Riot, you could have put a news thing, or had /ALL Chat talk about Dominion, maybe even just said to the community "Play Dominion more or we'll remove it" and gotten another at least 5% of the freakin' playerbase playing it, if not more.

But nope, lets just remove it and say its all the players' faults, eh?

I thought they said they removed it since, at release, once the week of hype died out, majority immediately shifted back to SR.

Because Dominion never got a Ranked section. If it did, Dominion would still be decently popular, and maybe on the same level as Twisted Treeline. I enjoyed the Shurima event and playing Hide and Seek, but when SR Ranked would come around, I would be grinding on there and maybe TT occasionally if I felt like it.

I would have loved to play Dominion Ranked or win end of season rewards for it, but they never offered any of that, so it became something that I didn't feel like playing. More people played Aram and that was based around teamfights which always helped out with SR team comps.

Dominion helped me master Ryze and Irelia (loonnnnngggggg ago), and opened up a map for almost every champion to be viable. I didn't play Dominion as much because it was rarely updated, rarely balanced, and just rarely given a reason to play it. I still played it for 250+ games.

In all honesty, I didn't like the game concept of Dominion. It was always stale. But that's just my opinion.

Dominion used to be popular. Upon the initial release, a huge player base was playing Dominion. However, most of the player base shifted away from it especially once ARAM came out. Keeping the game mode alive doesn't make sense at a company stand point. There is no sense to spend the time and money to keep a game mode updated that an extremely small amount of players still play. They never really said it is completely the players fault.

How can you read the same announcement I read and reach that conclusion? Really, it's clearly stated that they never put any effort into Dominion, and that they don't want to, how is that saying it's "players' fault"?

People must sure like complaining for searching so actively new reasons to complain...
