Riot revert Xerath to the old one!, Xerath nowadays is simply useless

Before you guys jump on the downvote bandwagon consider this, this game have far changed since the second and third season, most champs nowadays have procs with health damage and speed, many have dashes flashes and teles in their kit, after trying many times with xerath nowadays and its nearly impossible to land this ult, his E is also very easy to dodge since it cant bypass minions and its slow, and his passive is garbage late game. Then i went to see some challenger matches only to see faker and bjergsen miss their ult ALL THE TIME, having to relying on jungler + support cc the shit ouf of ur opponent to be able to land anything.

But the worst thing is that he lacks survivability and that means that late game when i try to land my ult far away from teamfights i get focused and killed soo easily while i didnt even hit 1 of my barrages.

His abilities dont sync, his only hope is his W and Q(*sometimes) other than that he is purely bad...

Just for comparison i tried to compare him to other tier mages that rely on skillshots:

Orianna take ori for example, her balls are insanely fast and the width of the damage is also bigger than most xeraths abilities (except for W), now her ult is almost impossible to dodge (ive only seen people dodging by flashing out of it only) and thats it, she does tons of damage even relying on AA only.

Ahri Ahri Insanely fast ult with 3 charges, her Q BYPASS MINIONS and heals her on and is really faster than xeraths Q, she have taunt similar to xeraths E but hers is WAY FASTER than xeraths stun. Plus ahri have her W that deals auto firings so you dont even need to aim.

Lux Lux needless to say, her Q travel fast and has 2 procs, her W witdh is insane and range, her ULT is a fast big beam with a insane range.

Taliyah Her Q travels extremely fast and he have 6 shots that can be shot while on any movement!!!, her E throws you from the ground up and her W have giganting area of effect/.

Velkoz The only one i would consider somewhat similar to xeraths in all forms, except his ult is a fking nightmare that makes dodging very hard (1+ point to velkoz) and his E is somewhat easier to land because the execution of the skill is faster. But the biggest advantage vel has on xer is that velkoz have a VERY LOW COOLDOWN on all of his abilities. Unlike xerath that only have Q to have low cd.

So in my opinion its unfair to have my xerath soo underwhelmed by the new mechanics of this game.

We all miss the old Xerath Xerath item 3070

Xerath is heavily rewarded by landing his Q with deathfire + Luden's from past the fog of war because it's more than enough to do above 50% of a squishy's health. He doesn't need survivability since he's a long range poke mage. Xerath mains are the scariest thing in midlane, you can't get to them while they land everything.

Xerath is receiving a really nice couple of buffs for the exact reason to help him shine.

Old Xerath could turn a lost teamfight into a won one but don't despise this current form.

Im just saying this: Xerath feeds on arcane power, becoming increasingly resilient to physical harm; granting him 15% of his ability power as bonus armor.

No. Building damage and getting defensive stats? Not the best thing.

Also his kit is pretty much the same, except he only gains long range Q's after rooting himself, which seems more problematic than a slow.

What Xerath lacks is a way for good players to express skill on him short of his ultimate. There's a ton of ways to use his ultimate to get advantages, and that's pretty cool, but that's about it.

Adjust the rank filter from Bronze to Diamond and you'll see he stays remarkably consistent. That implies he is doesn't fall off as your opponents get better at dodging because you get better at hitting them. I think his ultimate is fantastic in lower ranks when fights can and often do break out without you there. I've been on the opposite end of the map and able to contribute to a fight many a time, turning the tide of that fight.

Vel'Koz doesn't have low cooldowns on all his abilities. His lowest cooldown ability is his q at 7 secs on all ranks and at 40% cdr, the cooldown is 4.2 secs. At 45% cdr, it would be at 3.85. That's still not low. There would be times when I would use all my abilities in a teamfight and if we haven't won yet, my teammate would accuse me of doing nothing when really I'm waiting for my abilities to come off cooldown. One person went as far as to say that I was "dancing around." I don't know where you got the idea the all of Vel'Koz abilities have low cooldowns. He doesn't. Vel'Koz's e isn't easier to land either. It's also one of the most unsatisifying hard cc to land in the game. Other mages like brand or Sandra get over a second on their stuns while Vel'Koz only get .75 secs on his e.
