Support Mains: Anyone Else Bored With The ADC Meta?
In particular, I miss ADCs that have a little poke and/or combo potential. Right now so many folks seem to be playing ADCs like Tristana or Xayah that almost assume their support is a potato who offers nothing in lane beyond heals or an all-in engage for lategame. At least Vayne and Jinx offer some crowd control, but I'm truly missing the more AD-mage types like Ashe, Jhin, MF, and (AD stacked, not AS) Varus, who can follow up with your poke/CC for safe kills and/or pushing the enemy ADC out of lane for a large CS differential. It's truly a thing of beauty when an ADC and a support get on the same page with chaining their skills together. I don't know if it's just people following the meta or operating under the assumption that they're going to get a support fill but I'll be quite happy when the meta shifts again!

Honestly, i'm more starting to feel bored with the fact that a support feel more tied to the main carry than the team.
I would like to roam, but feel more and more that there is less opportunities to do so, and that the malus while doing so futher discourage supports.
Riot announced they wanted to open bot to more champion (notably APC), which is nice. However that will (i think) still not change the fact that support can't help the rest of the team during laning, that sometimes need waayy more help than your carry, because said carry (even when far ahead) can't survive alone (and ironically is a monster when with an ally). I'm not saying that because I "get filled with bad botlaner" (I actually almost excusively play with the same guy), but because it's just painful to watch the other lanes suffer while it's your job to help them, but you can't because it would have desastrous consequenses even when ahead.
