Nah, im just being salty. Bad last handful of matches.

As for your point... You do indeed have a legit point. FF and STE are the only support items which grossly penalize for taking any form of CS.

If its free gold when your ADC backed, then the Spellthief cooldown shouldn't be affecting you much. But if it's when taking cs from your own ADC, the cooldown is just trying to prevent you from being a cs-stealing jerk.

the most problematic situation i find is when you harass the enemy only to kill a minion also, shutting down your gold generation and bonus damage.

Depends on what kind of pokey supports you're going. If it's mostly AoE like Morgana & Karma, you should really learn to adjust your skillshots & targetting terrain to prevent touching/last hitting minions as well. You can't just shoot everything blindly, unless you know what you are sacrificing.
