50% winrate, 55% pickrate. Man's pickrate is higher than his winrate, I think that's the first time i've ever seen somebody do that. Even among adcs that is an absurd pickrate.

Ezreal is always high pick rate, in part because despite someone saying otherwise, he doesn't really have a point in the game where he becomes useless.

safest adc in the game,mobility and poke,passive that gives attack speed for the lanephase,sheen powerspike,trinity force is a safe item,
And with the crit item changes he will be actually better,as botrk will be cheaper and crit adcs worse meaning he could probably rise even more lol.

He is the safest ADC with the most build paths and options. Literally every time ADCs get a big role wide change his playrate spikes because he is the go to fallback ADC.
Hes not OP, people just dont know whats good atm and want a standard fallback.

When a single adc is picked 55% of the times over an entire champion class, there's something wrong. Any of you guys can't deny this.

build is ruining low elo. I sincerely hope they stop it soon, not because I've struggled against it but because too many players sub plat can't play him and they cant make the build work.
Please low elo ADC go back to your other ADCs, Ez is not for many of you.
I'm not surprised. If anything, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner.
With Riot injecting as much damage into the game as they have, it's not surprising that people playing the position unable to deal with receiving that damage with items would do what they could and pick the champion who they are most able to play in a way to avoid it, regardless of winrate.
Expect him to be an even more contested pick in the future if the ADC armor nerfs go through.
Actually for many reasons , he isn't a champion that does nothing but to Auto Attack , he has skillshots to hit , so people can't call him a brain dead right clicker , he has to put out some plays more than most of other adc and the most importantly ,in the meta where everyone goes bot lane to snowball " even top laners " he is the best option to go under his tower because of his E , and Ezreal is pretty fun to play , his quotes , a lot about him is cool , and his ult snipes and stuff as a mid lane main , I really feel sick of following the enemy mid laner everytime he roams bot ,but I feel a lot better if my adc is Ezreal .
It was always like that in Korea, Ezreal is fun, interactive and takes skill to play , right clicking isn't really fun and has no counterplay. So people have fun with and against Ezreal (talking about bot lane, not him kiting Darius with IBG) , thus a high pick rate. Also he is really not that good compared to crit adcs so he has a low ban rate, which makes his pickrate even higher.
no skill spam q over champions character model with just like point and click except extra range. Same problem zoe has actually Zoe and yasou have Ezreal's problem no spell down time and spells are not apropriately weakened due to not having a spell down time.

I don't think Ezreal is the broken one here. I think the stats websites are busted.
Edit: looking at op.gg again, it looks like they're only using data from Korea, where Ezreal is absurdly popular no matter his actual viability.
botlane has no variety, people just plays the most popular champions and they think it's broken
