Mastery Scores should give suggestions for improvement

I'm not 100% on how the formula works, but if it is mostly based on your score and performance, then I think the end game screen should also give you suggestions about how to score higher. If you didn't cs well and it gave you a worse grade because of that, it should tell you. If you died more compared to others who played the same champ, it should tell you. Think this would be a good way to help players better themselves.

"500 cs? try 5000"

They said they didn't want to release what factors weigh in on the mastery score so people couldn't "game the system".

Although, being given even a vague idea of what makes you better at a champion will go a long way towards improvement, and might even help reveal flaws in the scoring system if every support is "lacking in CS".

Good idea, I have to say. That actually could work if they track individual score components in the algorithm.

500 cs? PFFFFT

My best score was...0. Playing support. 1 hour+ game.

o god pls no, those would just misslead parts of the community to playeven more egocentric to "carry". It´s a teamgame and that algorythm sucks to capture that, if you play supportive you´ll get worse rating than if you just try to play for a good kda and hope you´re team will win the game while you don´t take any risks.

suggested improvements to help you achieve an S:

ADC: Stop dieing Mage: roam more Tank: Die more Diver: back off Assassin: stop being a chicken Support: Roll a natural 20, then pass a confirmation roll.

It will only tell you to farm more.

Most of the time it feels like you need at least 10+ cs to get an S+(once got a decent KDA and 10+ farm per minute as Tryndamere, S but no +). And then again, sometimes I get decent at most cs and a KDA of 4-5 only, and I still get an S+. The system confuses me very hard.

I completely agree with this. My biggest frustration with my mastery is that, at the end of every match, I only have a letter grade to deal with, and no other metric to guide me: how is my CS compared to the ideal? Did I ward enough? Should I focus more on taking objectives next time? All of these are simple metrics that the game records, but doesn't convey at all to the player, and while I make it a personal mission to identify means to improve in the future after every game, having the assistance of a system that has all the data to help me could greatly improve that.

I'd just like to see them tell me what could be better or release the statistics of each rank. Did I die too much? Did I not get enough CS? I don't know because nothing is clear.

Issue is it compares you to players in your region.

Do people really still not know how this works?
