What Is Wrong With Platinum Players?

That doesn't mean they are bad. Don't just look at the KDA and assume someone is a good or a bad player.

There are many reasons why this can happen. Most importantly, it's probably because in higher elo, once you get an advantage, you push it hard to the point where you can either force your opponent out of lane / xp range / farming, or just straight up kill them. Sometimes, dying in order to secure some farm and exp is better than getting zoned and falling even more behind. Granting 150 gold to your enemy (if you have died like 2-3 times in a row) isn't as bad as long 3-4 minon waves ( 400+ gold) and xp by being zoned out or forced out of your lane.

Another reason is that the higher elo players will always look to turn the game around through some sort of play. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, it is all up to high fed the enemy is and how confident they are of making the play happen. Thing is, they will try to, instead of just pathetically staying under tower waiting for someone else to carry them.

Also, a lot of times, if you die and you burn your flash, you are an easy target for the jungler to camp you. A lot of people don't realize this, andjust outright flame you for feeding, even though it's just the enemy team doubleteaming you and you having no way to react and no support from your team. Higher elo players will take advantage of these things and snowball a small opening really hard.

Of course, they are a lot of boosted players (a bronze player playing in a platinum account). That player will obviously get stomped. I have some friends who have been boosted from bronze to gold and platinum and I also have been asked to boost accounts and I have denied just as many times.

Go ahead and watch challenger players' streams. You will often see people going 0/5 in lane. It doesn't mean they are worse than silver players who just go 0/2 and then stay afk under tower. It means that the enemy knows how to push their advantage.

i picked cho top, enemy counterpicked and was a darius only main, i didn't feed, but i only had 14cs after 6mins. he zoned me hard and i knew i couldn't do anything about it.

sometimes you end up in a lane you're not supposed to be in.

sometimes you get counterpicked

sometimes the enemy plays better than you do.

its not something you can help, they're just doing everything right and it literally gives no room to fight back in. yes its awful, and yes it sucks.

plat players give less room for error, coupled with the fact that dynamic boost enabled players to reach plat who otherwise do not belong there at all.... it creates room for lots of shenanigans.
