I've been playing Shyvana for a while, but I always thought that after the nerf to her burnout that she could no longer get the healthy first clear that she had previously been known for. I was wrong. I was just using the wrong rune setup. Checked out what the best Shyvana players in the world were running and as it turns out the reason I was taking so much damage was because I was slowing my own clear by running AD reds instead of the AS reds that the best were running. I made the swap and the difference is huge.

Have you guys ever had a realization like this???

Some basic advice on rune pages for jungle. For almost EVERY JUNGLER attack speed is fucking god tier in clears, auto attacks unless you are playing something like kindred, where you are spamming a Q ability, are your primary source of damage towards a monster camp. The typical rune page on a jungler has 15 percent attack speed. The second most important stat for a jungler is armor, for now that you are doing damage, u need to survive damage. the typical jungler rune page has AT LEAST 9 armor.

The only time you break those rules and prioritize damage is if you are playing a caster clear jungler, where the majority of your damage is coming from your abilities. And unless your name is kindred/nidalee/evelyn chances are you aren't a caster jungler.

Well, I've never understood why Trinity was core on Corki for the first month of playing him, I just didn't understand how to keep proccing it, then I read a Mobafire guide.

Until about 100 games on her I though Riven was more like a juggernaut than a skirmisher.

Unless I'm playing something tanky, like Rammus / Mundo, where my abilities will do more than my auto attacks in the long run, I'll take attack speed.

When I play Shyv, I'll take tank masteries with an attack speed / ad page with standard resistances, build razor and titanic. Is super fun.

I realized Malphite is actually not an AP assassin. Not that it mattered, still played him AP all the way to 298k points and continuing.

When I first picked up Kassadin I played him as (what I thought was) a mage-assassin. My friends were always telling me to build him differently, but I would have none of it. Then I found out that he's not a mage-assassin, he's an assassin-mage.

I have it every season, when things get changed around so much that I have to make changes to my build, skill order, and overall approach. Repeated nerfs don't help either.

Fiora Tiamat'ing before E in your combo is a bit faster... but because you take Fervor, Tiamat'ing afterwards actually does more damage.

I usually always went 10% cdr/18 runes on taliyah building morello and zhonyas or prechange abyssal to hit 40%, but I realized that 40% are unnecessary most of the time. Now I go with either 216 hp/18, 8,5 armor, 15,7 ap, 7,8 magic pen or 216 hp/18, 12,1 MR, 14,9 ad, 7,8 magic pen because resistences are way more important in early game than some scaling cdr

Yes I am fully aware that picking Tahm Kench as a support (especially blind) is a really bad idea because of how weird he is.... He has no immediate hard CC and he has no AoE CC or utility..... most of his power is in allied W (as a support anyways) however allied W does little against sustain damage and it also isn't very useful against heavy AoE (protecting one ally doesn't help much if everyone else is dying) it also has a slight problem that while yes it protects the ally it also prevents the ally from dealing damage basically removing the ally from the fight for a while (exceptions do exist since abilities like Swain R, Aurelion Sol passive, Garen E, Singed Q all keep working while being eaten be it they are allies or enemies)

So blind picking him might just end up with being useless... but who cares when it is fun to play him

Back when I was starting and picked up my first and only main, and had problems farming.
