Pretty neat, obviously replaced with Shiv.

It's similar to Statikk Shiv but an HP/AS item. At the time nobody bought it, but it would be cool on Shyvana imo. You could proc it instantly with an AA+Q+TH engage. I just think they should reuse the icon tho, it looks neat.

I could see Lee picking it up and getting some crazy JG clear while turning into a titanic tank for the late game. Tank Vi?

Really any jungler that uses AS and can transition into a tank for the extra jg clear.

That entire item set was great. It was a viable alternate auto attack build path that was unique from typical ADC builds...

...and that's exactly why it no longer exists. Riot will squash diversity if it threatens their image of the game.

I meant in a broader sense, like role-wide diversity. Ekko and Fizz are just poorly designed.

Imagine that. The sustained damage utility assassin designed with high base damages, more slows than any other champion, a shield, and massive heal is building tank? Mhmm.

That being said, I'm not opposed to champs being played in a way that they were not designed to play as, but eventually ALL champs will be played in a way that is optimal for their kit. It's natural selection. If you don't take that into account when you're designing a champ, you should not be in champ design, it's as simple as that.

...that's not listing the pros though. Those are fundamental, easily accessible components of his kit that compound to make Ekko unhealthy, precisely because they DO NOT belong on an assassin's kit. Hence alternate builds.

It's not about listing Ekko's abilities in a vacuum and saying "oh, this is OP", it's in the context of "this is what an assassin does, and how it does it" and "this is what other assassins have", and saying, yeah, maybe these alternative playstyles are originating from some core problem.

And honestly, a lot of that has been fixed in Ekko. Not all of it, but a lot.

Just that Ionic Spark was a good on-hit item for AA-focused bruisers, and Shive is an ADC item, so while beeing dps items with aoe, they aim at a totally different target group. So i think it wouldn't hurt to re-introduce Ionic-spark in some way.

It was neat, but its weird combo (health and attack speed) and rather lackluster stats meant the only people who ever really built it were Shyvana and Volibear. Shiv is far superior.

Agreed icon is cool though.

Old Shen could also build it in conjunction with Sunfire since his splitpushing capability was extremely poor in the wave clear department. It made him fairly speedy at it.

Somehow you included alot of nonsense in these build paths. ô.o Your paths include the following stats which are not in the final item: AP, AD, Crit, CDR, Mana

I think this path would be more reasonable: item 1043 + item 1011

I assumed that you wanted to create the build path for the shown item, especially since you created build paths for new items but no suggestions for what these new items should do in game. Like, what is their purpose?

Totally my bad, you are right about that, I made the wrong assumption. I would like to hear if you actually have any suggestions for this new item in mind. ^^

this is the path that i would expect to be used in order to make it exactly as it is.

item 2015 + item 1028 + ~1500 gold

those build paths i placed above are suggestions that i think would fill the voids in our current item shop by providing alternatives to popular items or not so popular items.

the first one would be something along the lines of a melee physical casters alternative to essence reaver.

the second one would be an alternative to rageblade with casting in mind and not just basic attacking

the third one is an alternative to phantom dancer that is basically a basic attack version of ludens echo which would provide movement speed, attack speed, ability power, and criticals. i think this would give infinity edge a run for its money.

the third one is an alternative to nashoors tooth that's built more for a juggernaut.

the lightning passive on all of those builds is removed and replaced with more specific passives that would cater to the item itself. the image appears to be a lightning hand bow so it would make sense to redesign it as a critical item with magic properties though we have 2 items already that build from the shard.

so even something like

item 1043 or item 3035 + item 1018 or item 1051 + item 3113 or item 3108

since the fact of the matter is that the item grants 50% attack speed it'd be granting more attack speed than every item in the game except nashoors tooth. the hp granted is so low that you'd either have to combine it with a single ruby gem and pay the difference in gold or increase the stats on the original weapon. and then of course the lightning passive is already taken over by statikk shiv.

personally to me it just makes more sense to give it new stats.

If tanks want mana though they can choose either of the Frozen items. Granted it's not as much but it is still there.

Would a tank tear item give you more HP as you got more mana?

Hmmm... Gives mana, the mana refund effect, 300 health, and 2% of max mana is converted into resists. The fully stacked form has a toggle that transfers 5% of your damage taken to your mana pool, instead.

I super wish that shiv was actually still called ionic spark, and they still used this icon. They couldn't kept the current stats of shiv and just used this item instead. Fits the theme of ranged items better anyway, imo.

Because HP on ADCs is something Riot doesn't want. Thanks why the changed item 3053 and there are no HP items with AS.

And on-hit champions rely on lifesteal or in-built heals.

It sounds more Healthy than Shiv TBH. Since ADCs are meant to deal sustained damage, giving them a burst-centric item is dubious.

It would be cool to have back, but it would probably break a few champions,( ie: yi, teemo, jax, irelia, kogmaw, and some more) and it's synergy with frozen mallet and titanic hydra would be broken.
