I'll admit I feel sympathy for the poor junglers that get stuck with 
but at least it invests into something worthwhile and fun.
But holy shit rito making the poorest role in the game shouldered by debt.
This makes less sense than forcing penniless teenagers into student loans.
Sightstone becomes extremely cost efficient over time, and has useful HP on it as well. The starting gold items are no different than everyone else starting with a Dorans, except you get to upgrade it and make it more useful on top of it paying for itself.
Basically, it's sacrificing a small amount for a large return. If you don't want to start with a gold item or rush Sightstone, then don't. You're probably going to be worse off though.
That's like saying that ADC starts with 1550 less gold because they buy a BF, they're items related to the role. If you don't like the role don't play it.
Support gold items actually provide legit stats.

true, and not only that, the supp role is extremely hard to master because there is so much a supp can do, a supp can even decide the outcome of the game like the other roles but with more impact, imagine a supp that superiorly wards/battles, that comes a dime a dozen
proposed solutions:
cheapen supp items, buff supp items, buff gold income

Support always was the bottom bitch role. I applaud the master game designer who made a map that can support 4 people with gold and then made it a 5v5 just so 1 guy has to give up their fun. It's like the basis of a reality show.
