Will Ashe be getting any love anytime soon?

Feels pretty miserable to play her. Between the straight nerfs in the preseason patch, the tenacity/slow-resist mastery, the ever-expanding League of Mobility, and Boots of Swiftness becoming popular on basically everyone, the so-called "utility marksman" can't slow anyone for shit. Even Kindred has better slowing power than Ashe.

I don't really care if you have to nerf her damage to compensate, but Riot please make Frost Shot a useful ability again. Right now it feels like there's no real reason to pick Ashe over Kalista.

We're going to be assessing Ashe's state in the next patch or two, it does feel like she's in a somewhat rough state at the moment. Having said that we'll probably be looking at the amount of overall move speed/slow resist being bought first. If our conclusion's that that's out of line (as opposed to different from the historical state, but appropriate) we might hold off on Ashe changes while we nerf other things that are strong against her.

Her initial rework was so perfect I don't know why they felt so compelled to ruin it a few months later

I think the issue is mainly with utility ADCs in general. You don't even see a lot of play with Sivir either since people are more focused on snowballing. You aren't snowballing easy with Ashe or Sivir. They thrive in teamfights but by the time teamfights happen nowadays, the games are usually determined by that point who will win.

Graves and MF going into Ashe or Sivir and unless the later 2s support is godly, will most likely lose on an even playing field.

Some issues I have with Ashe;

  • Her autos feel really clunky and not very archer-like
  • Her Volley has a really high AD ratio but the base damage is so pathetically low (80) that it rarely compensates
  • Her Q doesn't feel rewarding unless you're fed already
  • It's hard to tell if someone is slowed and her ultimate doesn't give off an effect you stunned someone after they are hit with it

Really hope Ashe gets something even if it's just a QoL buff. She has a lot of potential with her being aimed towards a utility ADC to be unique and interesting while also viable.

Buff Ashe around Juggernaut meta. Then nerf her after and continue to ignore her after launch of ADC meta. Seems about right

I agree.Riot doesn't take care her.

I'm against any significant buffs only because she's already so close to being top tier. The playerbase is really inexperienced with Ashe and her winrate shoots up significantly once you start getting some games on her. A decent buff could easily push her into having the highest winrate in the game.

Ashe's early game is fine (besides her Q), but her shtick as the utility marksman us shattered the instant someone builds swifties.

I absolutely hate this label. I feel like it unfairly taxes a champion without any real reason.

How do you define utility?
How would you classify Ezreal with a "blue" item build? Lissandra has a "high utility" ult, self-displacement, slows and a root. How does her mobility or damage fare in comparison to other "high utility" champions? In terms of kiting, how well do you kite as Ashe in comparison to a Lucian/Ezreal/Graves with what essentially amounts to built-in "mini-flashes" ? Or a hop-happy Kalista? In terms of initiation, how often is a max distance, max duration stun on a long-shot Enchanted Arrow really benefit the team?
