How can people enjoy this game

75% of my matches make me wanna uninstall the game. I mainly only play Wukong top lane and it seems that Wu is considered to be a "gay" champion which is supposed to mean an op champion, but he is so easily countered by champions that seem a million times gayer.... For example, the last match i played i laned vs a Rumble; i rushed a black cleaver and was dominating him, pushing him back to under his tower by lv 3. i got the BC by level 5 i think and had double the farm he did. he poked a l tharder then me though because he has ranged attacks but i had pots to sustain. I had teleport as well and he didnt so it was easier for me to farm and push the lane. Somewhere around lv 6-9 though things started getting REALLY frustrating and annoying... he would spam his pokes on me, slows me and i cant ever burst him down. Also, whenever i go to use R on em he speeds up and outruns me (even with boots). He always maintained a good distance but his range could still get me. I tried had to not feed but he got me once. Then a second time he got me with the help of a gank. Then a third time because there is nothing i can do anymore... and from then on im in the mood to uninstall the game immediately because im just frustrated and i have no idea what Riot expects players in this position to do. Im sitting there looking into my screen raging inside over how bad i was doing and how useless and unable to to anything i was. I am already lv 30 but dont yet have enough champs to play ranked. I got pretty good with wu in the sense that i understand his mechanics in and out, but i dont have a strong knowledge on a lot of champions. I knew most of Rumble could do though. Bot lane had given the enemy team like 3 kills by the time i was lv 6 but when the match ended i was the one who was frowned upon. This happens everytime and it actually makes me feel really bad out of frustration... like im really trying to win, but there never seems to be anything i could do. Its hard for me to quit a game and feel like i just suck so it always brings me back to playing it even if i quit for a couple of days or weeks, but seriously this game is really bad in the sense that if you arent a keyboard warrior, if you arent a "pro" then you wont be the enjoying the lengthy matches which you also cant leave.

I know many of you are going to say you just need to get better, but i had seriously practiced for a while and got better but there are so many moments that make you feel like there is no point. I once was the carry with a Wu and i was doing 7/2 and a kat with 1/2 rekt me on a 1v1... another time i laned top with Wu vs a Ryze and this guy spammed a freezing ability on me every 5 secs (literally every 5 secs). So imagine you playing Wu, you go to burst em down when you sudenly get frozen and you getting hit by the enemy as the enemy walks out of your range.... everytime... i got so mad i stopped playign for like 4 days... i think i need to find a new game because this game frustrates me instead of helping me enjoy myself for a little while.

Wukong has some very easily exploitable weaknesses.

Your enemy laners are exploiting those weaknesses.

You have to either learn to cover those weaknesses in your play style, or well, be in the same position you're in now.

Champions having weaknesses is like, incredibly important to LoL. If you can't stand not having a super powerful champion that wins in every single match up against every single player while you just press buttons, then this isn't the game for you.

And before anyone decides to go "Oh yeah you can just play X", "X" would get wrecked if you gave "X" to a level 5 player and then gave any LCS ranked player whatever champion they want. 100% unbeatable champions do not exist in LoL.

Honestly? Everyone has bad games. Once you start to lose a lane ~ DO NOT FIGHT WITHOUT A GANK. Stop pushing, play safe, let your jungler know you're behind, and keep your lane warded. Additionally, if you have TP top and your opposing laner does not ~ abuse that fact. lane gank bot and tp top before he can do anything to your turret, watch for key fights (Dragon) that you can participate in and he cannot.

Mostly though - and this is important - Don't get mad. If you get mad, your play WILL suffer.

I know how you feel. You lose, it makes you mad, you WANT to win. I used to get so pissed at games, i threw an xbox controller 40 feet across my basement once. Needless to say, it didn't survive, and i didn't feel better.

Get some gaming music that just makes you... happy, relax, have fun ~ inasmuch as you can have fun losing :( ~ and remember that it's a game. You CAN win from behind, as long as you don't let the enemy capitalize on the fact that you are behind. Use your advantages (tp) watch his wards, if he never gets pink/green let him push, he'll be easy to gank+kill.

didnt read, just uninstall the game if 75% of the games make u feel that way. im assuming that the enjoyment is overshadowed by the frustration you feel from this game.

I actually saw some youtube videos with people playing Wukong and having a hard time and i thought you know what i should probably do what they do and take it with a grain of salt. I get too worked up sometimes when i get constantly rekt, but honestly i know everyone probably feels like that.

DMouseslayer what you said makes perfect sense. thanks, although there are some champs that are just ridiculous to lane against. Like teemo would rek wu top lane easily... the most annoying little sucker... i hear thats just teemo though
