What I really hate about Yasuo and Zed is

That they are rewarded so easily. As a mage, you have to constantly play your best to keep them both at bay - mind you, just to keep them at bay, because killing either becomes impossible if they're any decent. If you kill Zed, it doesn't matter! He'll just get a hexdrinker, rendering your entire kit insufficient! You can get kills on them and still, the slightest mistake on your part will throw them right back in the game. If you, as a mage, make an early-level mistake and die, the lane is over for you. It's just plainly stupid.

Okay.

Are we going to talk about the fact that of the top 20 champions in mid, Yasuo and Zed take 6th and 26th place, respectively? And that's just in Silver.

In Gold, Yasuo drops down to 15th place with Zed remaining at 26th. Again, they take backseats to mages.

What about Plat+, where Yasuo drops (again) to 18th place and Zed to 28th?

Hell, even on the reverse end of the spectrum, Yasuo is still in 4th place in Bronze and Iron, Zed is 30th in Bronze and 31st in Iron.

I think Yasuo and Zed have their problems, but they are not 100% autowin champions and Mages generally outclass them. Statistics don't lie.

Going hexdrinker on Zed feels so bad to play as. You need lethality to kill people. Also, the low risk high reward thing is basically a mage property to begin with.

If your complaint about zed is buying a hexdrinker to render your kit useless then why the heck are you talking about zed? Zed isn't hexdrinker. Hexdrinkee can be bought on any ad champio.

Not really for zed, buying hexdrinker pretty much makes his damage nonexistent, he really needs the lethality to win. You can also build a seekers which is pretty much the equivalent, but when stacked better gold value and it builds into zhonyas which just negates zeds kit completely. Is he annoying at first? Yea, but as long as you stack a bit of armor and perhaps get a stopwatch he is pretty much useless, and with high w cooldown he is essentially without escape or much poke for 22 seconds. Not to mention most mages completely outscale him and pump out much more damage than a Zed ever will.

As for yasuo, he's a bit overtuned right now so yea he will be annoying to fight, but his early game isn't actually that good. In fact, it's probably one of the points in the games that you will beat him, with high windwall cooldown, easy to proc his shield, and whatever. Whats probably more annoying is the fact that despite seemingly setting him behind to 0/5, he finishes his crit items, gets 100% crits, and proceeds to become relevant in the game again with seemingly no effort.
