Kalista's "bond" mechanic could work really well for a "gold investment" support Champion

What do I mean? I mean a Champion who invests in a teammate in a way like Kalista's Black Spear, but said investment results in income increases for both this Champion and his/her invested teammate.

I don't have nitty-gritty details on how this could work yet, but the bottom line is that if you had this support at your side in bottom lane, you'd see drastically better income (perhaps at a cost of safety). Putting this Champion with a Draven, for instance, would see you both potentially swimming in gold before the 15-minute mark.

I have to wonder, however, how hard this would be to balance. Any thoughts?
