Can we stop the kneejerk circle jerk conspiracy theory posts about favoritism.

This bug is a problem with old dash coding. It effects some other champions. What is more it only effects displacement. It is part of a spaghetti code issue where one movement command overrides another. Dozens of champions would need to be disabled. Not just Riven.

Riot already stated they would fix it the moment they noticed it. But of course it works on Riven so it is favoritism. Like animation canceling, you know that thing mages and ADCs do whenever they cast abilities without cast times or AA-Move-AA? That thing that is far from exclusive to Riven?

If there was as much favoritism for Riven as the community suggests she would be hitting 55+ win rates plat+ like many champs are allowed to do for months.

Also, allowing this just nerfs supports even more while allowing supports not to do their jobs as supports.

And if it shuts down most champions, I think we have bigger issues... Like balance?

If you wanna complain about displacements being eaten by dashes, bitch at Fking tristana, who, because Rocket jump has a long cast time, is nearly impossible to actually hook with blitz, because if she's on her game, she can eat the hook and jump out every time.

I agree with you. there are so many champs that take advantage of that. Rivens isn't even that easy to preform. She takes a high level of understanding to land it every time where you aa cancel to get the maximum output for her damage. I have tried learning it but it isn't ever easy. aa cancel is a huge advantage and a mechanic that most should learn. I play Yorick and I use his aa cancel as much as possible to get my damage up there rapidly

Show me a video of it on another champion. All the other examples i've seen have been on champions who still get stunned after their dash, but riven is issuing commands before the end of the CC duration.

Well normal animation canceling isnt as impactful + its not basically a bug like Rivens cancels are.

Welp. Only two explanations I can give for this reaction by the boards.

Negative favoritism.
Riven's dash animations are long enough to where she can move throughout the CC, making it easier to notice on her.

Either way this is no reason to hound on Riven for something that all champs with dashes can do to some extent.

Riven is thus far the hardest champion to do it on. Ezreal and Trist can cancel displacements too. The famous Trust cannot be hooked by Blitz. Been around since they both were present in League.

Also I have seen it on Poppy's charge. And possibly on Aatrox leap. Riven however has the largest dedicated playerbase and S1 coding. So she is more likely to find bugs.
