For the pro scene, he will be played mostly in support lane for 2 reasons -Huge base damage -Great support utility for coordinated teams that do not require items. Great for baiting baron

and on occasions will be played in top lane to counter specific picks like Rumble

He lacks any instant CC, so I don't think he'll fit that well in the botlane.

even in the support role, if u want all in just go with leona which has more reliable cc and more tankier and scales better late game. Galio wont be seen anywhere his place is in limbo with no real direction for him which lets be honest, when does riot ever get it right.
