Standing under turret before creeps spawn

I'm just curious why this trend is setting in like it is. Why do people refuse to guard buffs or watch for invades all of a sudden? You don't need to be a professional, or stick your neck out. Just be around. I mean it's just vexxing when youre a jungler and you politely ask people to guard your buffs/watch for invades, or a leash if need be, and theyre just afking under turret for no reason. Not even so much as dropping their trinket down at the VERY minimum. Then you get invaded on and bullied out of your start possibly even 3 buffed, and/or worse--killed because your team had to guard their towers before the creeps spawn. Now yea im not saying thats ALWAYS the case, but the way i see it is NOTHING is going to be happening under your turret before creeps spawn, but alot can potentially happen in your jungle before your creeps spawn, especially if someone is outnumbered.

But these are of course the same people that are raging for their jungler to come help -them- soon as the buzzer goes off, yet theyve nothing but apathy for helping their jungler.

I just want to know why this is suddenly a thing? :o

Yea i was going to say it's not really anything new, but now it just seems to have gotten the worst i can recall it being in recent memory.

It's probably a bad habit from playing vs. AI and not getting invaded in low elo.

The solution would be for Riot to add an Advanced Co-op level where the AI actually does these kinds of things and has a jungler.

But that's still no reason to ignore someone asking you for help in a non AI game. If you ask for help doing something and nobody cares to go help you, that's just being an asshole.

Would be cool though for bots to jungle. Even Dota 2 bots jungle lol

Of course it's not a good reason, that's why it's called a bad habit XD

What i mean is bad habit or not, if someone verbally alerts you, that bad habit should be nullified at that particular time. Because at that time of you having a bad habit of standing under your turret and someone says to you "Don't stand under your turret go here/help with this" but they refuse to listen and help you, theres no longer any kind of justifiable excuse. Theyve no good reason to ignore you.

It is definitely worse this season. Invades are less common than they were in previous seasons, but that is no excuse to play stupid.

Its because invades are extremely rare now and very risky, even if you do manage to steal a buff monster the time it takes for everyone to get back to their respective lanes, and for the jungler to get back into his own jungle, the invading team can lose more than the jungler that got invaded between being lower on exp.

For example as a jax top, if I see my laner isnt there I hard push the first wave into the tower, he loses at a minimum of 6 creeps worth of exp and gold from that wave, thats 102 gold lost for him and 264 exp compared to the 76 Gold and 300 EXP that their jungler got, and thats if the exp didnt get shared. Also thats the value lost to just one lane, mid lane (the other lane that doesnt leash) takes advantage thats a total of 204 gold and 528 exp lost to the enemy team. To top it off, they have to either walk back to lane or TP to lane, so now the top laner is either down a lot more CS or down his TP, and easy to bully out of lane early to force a walk back. The snowballing advantage I can get off a enemy invade is huge, thats why I never invade.

Of course this is all considering no one on my team dies to the invade.

This means I hit level 2 first and for Jax one level makes for an easy lane.
