whats up with losing the same amount of lp when there is an afk?

its not fair, its not right, and i can't see any reason why u make us lose lp for something that we can't control. if you can't remove the lp loss, at least decrease it.

People that afk in games are already punished. You may not realize it but they definitely do get hit with penalties. The low priority queue is massive, the thing literally locks out their entire client while they wait for the time.

Now to your point, it doesn't work because its exploitable. According to your fix, If I'm playing poorly i could disconnect so my teammates don't lose as much LP because of me. It doesn't work.

The fact of the matter is that you've gained LP from the enemy team having an afk or a troll, right? Did you make a thread complaining about it? Probably not. Through your games things eventually balance out, AND technically the enemy team has a higher chance of getting an afk than your team if you never leave games.

Tldr, Your fix doesn't work.

Yes, it is fair because** nobody** has any control over who goes afk. Both sides have the same chance.

If you lost less LP, people would try to bully each other into leaving and other shit, so this won't happen.

by that logic we shouldn't punish trolls, hackers/scripters, exploits. since both have the same chance of getting them. about that bully point, even today people say to each other "go afk u useless ****". i don't think that either teams has fun when someone waits the 3 minute mark to go afk cuz his mum told him to. although i agree with u that some people will exploit the less lp loss, but it can be easily fixed by acually punishing more flamers since we all agree that MOST of the community are toxic people with a mindset of a 12y'o
