Been waiting a while for it. Will tenacity be stackable with merc or no?

Tenacity currently stacks unless it's part of a unique passive with the same name.

I believe his question pertains to whether it stacks Additively or Multiplacatively.

I could see the case for additive since tenacity is overall a dead stat.

Tenacity stacks, but in a multiplicative fashion. Two sources of 50% tenacity would reduce CC to 25%.

100%×0.5=50% 50%×0.5=25%

Your first item give you a base percentage then each item or rune after that is a percentage of your remaining percentage. So Merc treads at 0% tenacity would give you 30% after this if you build item 3172 would be 35% of the remaining 70% which is about 24.5% So your total tenacity is 54.5%. If tenacity was addative you could easily get 100% off of items and runes making you immune to CC

Note that it was mentioned as an EXPERIMENTAL idea in that twitter.

Meaning, that will get tested - and, from my gut feeling, it will stop there. The particular combination of stats and effects in the idea is essentially a big stat stick. Alternatively, the item will be so heavily modified as to barely be recognizable anymore.
