So which so champ has the highest burst with one rotation? My guess for this one is Sandra or oriana

Which one has highest burst in say 10-15 second window? Cass or Zyra?

Fiddlesticks or Nunu. In 10 seconds, full build Fiddle/Nunu can kill an entire team in one rotation.

but it takes less than 3 for most champs to kill him unfortunately

nunu does have a lot of damage, but he is easily crowd controlled. his jungling is interesting though with his quick wave clear and free spells

"IF" the opponents haven't burned their flashes and "IF" he isn't crowd controlled during it

if he is interrupted even a second early, it reduces his damage to like 2-400 even at max level

Veigar has the highest burst by far, but he's shit so the next on the list is probably LeBlanc.

Damage over time would be Cass for single target and Karthus for AoE.

Malzahar is up there for burst with one rotation. I don't know how high, but a full rotation with 800 ap will do 3450 + 85% max hp before mitigation if someone stands in his pool for 5 seconds. 940 + 85% max hp of which is AoE

Rumble for AOE DOT - can destroy 1v5 the enemy team - It's funny to see how people just melt Ezrael, Viktor, LB, Brand, Annie - high burst (insane base damages + ratios) Some champions can stack more AP - like Viktor, Cass and Veigar and they will do more dmg than the mages with less AP Vladimir with CDR build can spam + heal and could kill any of these mages, if they don't 1shot him from a bush Same with Ryze. I've seen Katarina scripters to kill under 0.5 seconds - such counterplay...

you really said ori? lol. if diana have her passive charge her q r w a r burst that ale 1 sec is insane and probably the highest.

10-15 sec is dps and hihgest dps single target mages are cassi late game. fizz diana with nashor have also have insane dps

It's all based on what they are attacking and if they have itemized for it etc, but pretty safely the highest sustained damage is Cassiopiea or a AScap CritCap caitlyn from brush.

AP Damage Monsters Basically?

Pure Burst- Veigar (simply because he can have infinite damage in one burst, meaning unless Riot makes another character have even higher infinite AP, which is unlikely, Veigar will ALWAYS hold this spot) Pure DPS- Cassiopeia with Azir as a close second Hybrid Burst/DPS- Malzahar or Syndra

Syndra has the highest level 6 burst, IIRC. You just need some cooldown reduction, though, so make sure to rush item 3108 or something.

neither of those have highest burst or damage over time

if you want the highest burst in the game: Malzahar

his ultimate is literally meant to kill any one target with his burst combo

if you want highest damage over time effect, that would be Swain (he doesn't do the highest damage, but he can have a total of 3.2 AP + like 500 magic damage over the course of 4 seconds

I wouldn't call Malzahar's kit a burst kit though, since a lot of the damage is dependent on suppressing your target inside the pool and keeping them there. Like he technically shreds everyone with the combo, but it has a lot of counterplay (teamwork OP) unlike a true burst kit which is designed to destroy the target before they can react.

well, unfortunately there aren't many if any kits that can do that anymore and the ones that do are completely OP because they can do what the others of the same class can't more effectively

for instance, xerath against ziggs

xerath can unleash his entire combo in an instant, ziggs has more poke damage and escape chances

akali...idk how she shreds anyone the way she does...zed it typically too expensive and not on the free roster to experiment with his damage...but he can kill anyone...

Mordekaiser - build Gunblade, Rabadon, Lich Bane, Luden and Abyssal - you have such big burst with your R-E-Q combo that normal human being can not react before dying. You will kill everything except for tanks in less than 2 seconds.

For burst my in one rotation my guess would be Xerath because he has the highest combined AP ratio from his abilities, sadly to nail that ult reliably you would have to be Bjergson or Faker. Veigar Would absolutely be up there too, especially if ulting an enemy APC.

For sustained, between Azir and Viktor (although Viktor once his ult goes down can no longer sustain that, of course) Also probably Cassiopeia and Vladimir .

Pre rework Leblanc had highest burst. She could deystroy tanks literally in the blink of an eye. Her rework also has really high burst, especially with W doing around 700 damage late game on a very short cooldown.

Highest sustained dps goes to cass. Her Q and D can be spammed forever each dealing a ton of damage.
