@Riot, please consider adding self cast to Taliyah's W.
Just seems fitting to be honest. Feels silly that she can't, and enabling this won't give her any significant change only that no she has a slight escape

They did. They decided against it so that she could focus on how to use it on enemies, since if you have more than one optimal use for a skill, it is hard to tell if you used it correctly. For instance with Taliyah, it would be "should I save this for escape, use this for launching an enemy away from me, or should I use it to launch an enemy into my minefield". Now you just have the choice of minefield or away. It's an easier choice in the heat of the moment than trying to decide if it would be better to use now for damage, and in what way, or save it for an escape. Plus she has movespeed buffs on the worked ground that would help her escape(not against gap closer champs, but that's normal). And in her passive that would help if she was able to dodge her pursuers for enough time.
