Why do teams who have an advantage get awarded with more advantages?

Clearly the team who has a kill count of 15 against the other, being 4, are going to secure Dragons with ease, Rift Herald with ease, Baron's with ease, towers with ease, etc. Where's the "get out of jail for free card" for the opposing team? Do they just lose because of a bad level 3 fight, or a they got invaded in the jungle? That doesn't seem right at all, come backs are seemingly impossible. Teams who are in the negative side of things can't even farm up to get back into the game because of Rift Herald existing on the map, if they do split push, they just lose.

It's to make sure matches don't go on for an ungodly amount of time. I've seen crazy comebacks in this game so it's mostly team synergy that brings it back most of the time.

Strictly speaking, the team that is ahead deserves to win, and the mechanism of winning is through extention and increase of the amount of "ahead" you are:

I.E. you build on your current advantages to accumulate future advantages, culminating in winning.

There should not be any get out of jail for free card in the game. There should not be, for a behind team, "you deserve to win if the game lasts more than 30 minutes" heroes you can enter the game with, or any other win condition that is not dependent on some initiative taken by the losing team.

There should be the ability to create an upset in the game, and become the winning team even if you are much behind, and that opportunity should exist in all stages of the game. However it must be gated behind good plays and reasonable risks taken by the behind team - risks that may result in an instant loss if they are behind enough.

The game should be built around opportunities like that existing.

so we should award the losing team with advantages?

So the game actually ends?

Comebacks can happen in every game, but many players are too toxic and unwilling to help each other.

I previously suggested adding gold to dragons and baron equal to a % of gold your team is behind in. So if a winning team takes them, they get no gold, but a losing team gets gold on top of the objectives.
