They need to take away her animation cancelling if they want her to be balanced. Period.
It would be hilarious if G&B's whining changed Riven from a high skill cap champion into what they say she is; faceroll. Yeah, whine until what you don't like is made into the NuMorde of top lane, great idea, G&B. While you're at it why not sand off your own toenails?

I have a strong feeling that CertainlyT is in his office now, looking at Riven and finding some way to "improve" her. Most of his reworks are broken, and I don't mean "SUPER OP CAN'T BE BEAT!" They're made in a way that nerfing their damage in one way tends to mess with the whole kit and play style. Nerfing Fiora's ult will make her useless in a teamfight (Which was supposedly the problem with old Fiora), Skarner was nerfed and barely touched anymore, Morde's W is useless in solo lane, Garen can only win if he's losing, and Darius is unkillable. And now this guy wants to make Riven, one of the most complained about champs in this game, able to use her Wind Slash at it's FULL POSSIBLE POWER just because she has max edge? You realize you can beat on the frontline tank (or minions in solo lane fights) and just ult and chunk squishy players for half of their HP? Riot please, these reworks are going downhill so fast it's sad.
First people praised riot for this rework idea, posted hate riven threads and how happy they were, now they attack riot for it. This community is retarded, thats all I have to say.
Riot needs to remove animation cancelling if they want to balance Riven, clearly Riot never does what is necessary, but changing Riven without touching animation cancelling is pointless, she'll never be healthy no matter how much they touch their kit.
