She brings a lot of stuff that supports love. CC, damage, poke, disengage, engage, synergy with a lot of ADCs.
The sleep bubble is soooo good, you could pretty much have a Zoe/Pick your champion here lane and probably still win as long as you land your bubble.

AlienPrimate1 votesThe problem with going support is that there are two people in lane. Much of her power comes from hitting a max range Q on a sleeping enemy. If her enemy has half a brain, the enemy who isn't sleeping will walk into her Q blocking much of its damage.
Titanium701 votesYeah indeed she's better at bot - but as sad as it is, that is true for nearly all casters these days. Xerath, Lux, Brand, Zyra now Zoe - they all are viable solo laners and it's nice to have more gold. But since their sololaning can be abused so hard and on top it you only sacrifice a little DMG when playing from bot, it's usually better to leave mid for a snowballing or hard scaling champion. Aurelion/TF/Azir/Taliyah and Assassins.
Azadethe1 votesI think it's a mixed bag. Mid gives her much more access to W for clinch kills, and reliably gives her gold. Support..... she sometimes gets gold starved, position starved, and sometimes, even W starved.
Both are playable.
But.... I've went 6/0 as Zoe Support only to have my team literally hyper feed and face tank a Sejuani and then proceed to feed the very people I just shut down. Kind of sucks when you go 6/0 and then end game 7/7/6 because your team just trash canned vs a tank wall while their Gangplank or mid just aoe bomb the crap out of them. And Zoe can't get to a Void staff fast enough as Support, so i really couldn't help the situation.
