Attack Champions Only + Attack Move WHY
It's odd that the game has this setting and you can even bind it to left click but you can't make it function properly with the "champions only" key. All that is required to have a smooth and internally consistent control setup is exactly that. Left click to attack and right click to move. It would be perfect.
Would this make it easier to play attack reliant ADCs? Yeah, probably. Some of the gap would close mechanically and perhaps there would even be a need to nerf some champions from it. However, why have an arbitrarily awkward setup which is also an artificial barrier for new players? What does that really add? It's not about smarter positioning, not about better ability usage, not about macro, not about anything more than clicking the target a bit more accurately.
Yes, that's a skill too but it's such a mindless way of demonstrating mastery "OMG this guy ACTUALLY CLICKED THE CHAMPION and did not misclick a minion like we do in 1/100 instances! Truly a god among mortals!". It just becomes muscle memory for a good player but I see it as the same kind of archaic thing as the restriction in Starcraft 1 where you could only select so many units at a time. Sure, it requires more micro but does that additional difficulty make the game more rewarding or more frustrating? Is it difficulty just for the sake of it or does it add something to gameplay and strategic depth? The game has enough strategic and mechanical difficulty without this sort of thing. This is simply an annoyance for an otherwise elegant and comfortable setup.
