Maybe because you get to start the adventure of getting that stuff back, which might be part of the fun (I haven't played either of those games enough, so I'm assuming).

LoL used to upset me, but then I got gud. Crysis 2 multiplayer though...even if I was top score in the game and we won, each death was infuriatingly unfair lol
