Any plans to change the grading system?

Why?

There are so many countless variables and to be catered to ARAM specifically, it would be so utterly non-representative of anything in virtually any other game mode. It's such a different game mode. Those grades would be more thanks to the composition of the whole team than the performance of the individual.

I think if things start treating ARAM as anything other than a 'for-fun' game mode, it's going to start encroaching really heavily on what the mode really is about. Ratings changing is just going to be handing out rewards for the sake of rewarding people, not for much actual achievement. It's tough for a reason, and that's probably fine just the way it is. Overperformers like Sona should be difficult to get an S on.

That doesn't seem like a bad thing to have different modes have different algorithms to reflect different objectives and gameplay.

This is currently the case in ARAM though. If someone gets a good grade in ARAM, it may simply be due to rolling a good comp for/against that champ. Likewise for a bad grade. Improving the grading system to, for instance, take teamcomp into consideration would help make grades (feel) more meaningful.

I cannot disagree more with this point. Whether it's "for-fun" or "serious" has no relevance to ARAM's fundamental basis. At its core, ARAM is just a mode about playing with and against random champs. "(Lack of ) Seriousness" is not an inherent part of the mode's being.
