the title didn't explain it right, what i mean is why can't you have enough lethality to amplify the damage you deal? if you have 60 armor pen from lethality and the enemy has 40, you will deal damage equal to your ad, and not more

acually he can, the target can have negative armor and with that he will take more damage. best example i can think of is a minion with armor reduction from nasus's old e and corki's e
