Riot am I missing something?

I have dodged once today, and have only played one game today. I can't even remember the last time i dodged.... maybe like a couple months? And this isn't ranked or SR either it's an aram, but I get a 15 minute queue penalty instead of something lower like 5 mins?

Is it me or did the penalties get drastically hiked up or something? I rarely even dodge champselect and 15 minutes for another game is a bit absurd. So I didn't like a specific champ and didnt want to play shyvanna out on ARAM.... is a 15 minute punishment really needed? I understand the need for a delay to join queue after dodging, but 15 mins seems a bit crazy.

Idk why people downvote shit like this - some people just don't know certain things - in this case, ARAM is always a 15 minute penalty on the first dodge.

Really?! I actually never knew this and i have played this game for 2 years now... I guess its because I dont play aram much and when I do im generally not the one dodging. The more you know I suppose, thanks for the help :D

Downvotes are whatever, I just want a reason to why the penalty was so long.
