Cass is not in a good spot design wise

Her passive is still a ridiculous ball of stats locked behind an arbitrary and painful stacking mechanic. It doesn't even make sense, how does poisoning someone make you stronger? It should make them weaker, hint hint.

Her E is basically her entire kit. Her others skills are simply tools to set up the E spam while barely tickling the opponent.

Her poisons are still ineffectual unless you land the E, let those skills stand on their own. Used to be, you could choose if you want single target shredding ability or aoe poison power, now all her power is shoehorned into the E.

This rework was rushed for a lore event of all things, well you guys have all the time in the world now to fix the mess you made for it. Don't just travel down the same path you rushed for to push it out for the shurisimsismsiams event. Think of a new passive, there's some good ideas on these boards (like ya know, making a poison mage debilitate her opponents with a temporary stacking debuff rather than make herself more powerful somehow???), balance her kit so it isn't just Twin Fang and the rest of the shit that makes Twin Fang work.

I do not care that "she is in a good place" because win rates or whatever, she's not in a good place design wise, and it should be so painfully obvious what to do to fix this. And if it's not, there's lots of posts out there that will hit you over the head with the solution.

EDIT: I didn't know I had to tell you guys what to comment on. It's a Cass thread, you know the drill by now. Do you think I'm a big ole hating meanie butt for thinking that riot is anything other than infallible? Do you wish you could turn back the hands of time to change the course of events leading up to Cass' rework? Did the paltry 4.22 buffs make everyone give up? Who's still out there? Where my dogs at?

As I said in a different thread, the poison amplifier on her E was a quick yet overly complex fix. She doesn't need more power on her E. She needs more power on her Q and W and a new passive. Why do we keep circumventing this?

I do think it's terrible design to have 99% of a champion's power budget in one ability. Even Urgot isn't that focused.

You guys know what hurts me the most with this rework? That they made it forcefully.

If she needed rework, then sure, go ahead and do it. But she was just fine..

It's like brute rape while whispering to victims ears "but i love you"

EDIT: if i had time-travel device i'd most likely stay in time before Evelynn rework. I was most happy back then. Tanks were useful, no unique craps shallowing your builds, game didn;t base on knockups and gap closers... Happy times.. Oh happy.

New Cass passive: Every tick of poison permanently removes 1% HP. :D

Glad to see you around Bricks.

Drill op.

One thing I liked about old Cass was if you lose a fight your opponent could/would still succumb to the poison. Now they just walk away because I do nothing early game. ;(

OK. Was there something you wanted us to comment on? I feel like she's not much different than Brand mechanically speaking. She's got a limited role, but with 120+ champs, I don't think thats out of line.
