Please tell me you at least have poppy on your radar.

She is among the lowest winrate champions in the game even I her only viable role.

The tank update and sunfire changes in particular really hurt a lot of champions and I'm suprised she's so weak.

Check the bottom of both of these and you'll find poppy in the bottom 3. It's sad seeing one of the champions I liked so much be left this way.

Urgot as well is doing very poorly, and that's quite sad to see because he's another champion I love playing.

I want Poppy jg to be viable again. I learned her for THAT SPECIFIC REASON (and I love Poppy. One of my favorites.)

I think there's a number of reasons as to why she's in such a poor state right now.

Poppy was nerfed quite hard at the start of the year due to the colossus mastery, which Riot then proceeded to nerf the patch after, leaving her in an iffy, though still playable state. But then come the tank update, sunfire cape, which was so critical to her functioning in lane, had its damage cut in half and radius reduced by 100. This combined with minor nerfs to the other tank items and buffing of adc/fighter items was the nail in the coffin and left her in a practically unplayable state imo. She simply gets beaten in lane and outscaled by most champions.

If Riot were to consider buffing her, i'd suggest things like:

Increasing her Shield duration to 4 seconds, so it lasts long enough to actually be usable in lane

Making her ultimate a true knockup, though lowering the snapcast to 0.75 seconds as to not be too strong

Increasing her base health, as it's rather low for a tank

Increasing her passive and e range slightly, by like 25, to make her cc more reliable, as it's difficult to wall stun with such short ranges

Increasing the radius on sunfire cape so it can effectively be used for waveclear again

We'll riot has already proved that they whave not buff sunfire so that's already out of the question.

I think she needs to be tankier mostly as her damage isn't too bad (except against minions). She could do with maybe 7hp/lv an increase to her w passive to 20%, an increase to shield duration by 1 second, and additional 10 - 50 base damage to minions on her q.

I really don't think anything short of reverse olafing will get her in a good spot.

She's the lowest winrate because no one knows how to play her lol

Urgots pretty shitty but I think they should have designed him more into the Jungle role I looked at an Urgot in one of my matches and he has a pretty good winrate on him in gold.

Also they pretty much targeted "tanks that do damage" in so many nerfs that it sort of affected poppy in an indirect way. Just give it more time and mess with poppy.

Or just play Aatrox (secretly op)

The top player of Poppy only has a 54% wr on her after 900 games (NA at least)

What could be done to Poppy to make her more viable?

I only started playing after she was gutted from being a monster so I'm sure there's still some hesitation in buffing her.

Reverting some of the E nerfs I think would help? It's pretty easily avoidable being stunned by her. Or perhaps giving her W some sort of grounding effect? I think her Q does enough damage as is, maybe making her tapped R targets NOT be untargetable? It feels like that's one of the very few knockups that make your target untargetable which doesn't make much sense
