Another "please let us mute pings" post

This ? ping shit is getting out of hand. It's used for it's intended purpose maybe 10% of the time, and it basically only exists as a passive-aggressive form of flaming. Now I'm not gonna say anything like "I never tilt, but..." because I tilt frequently, but most of the time its because of having to hear ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? for 20-40 minutes straight if i'm not performing at a challenger level.

What this is all leading up to is another voice in the endless cacophony of people saying, Riot, please add a way for us to mute pings. I understand that they are vital to communication, but if one of your degenerate teammates abuses that to annoy people, they should lose the right to be heard. If this function was added, my own personal levels of tilt would go down by at least 80% and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

lol Amen. I /mute all at the start of almost every game and it's heavenly playing. I marvel at how anyone can tilt... until that one person... that one person you notice seems to be having lag, cause they usually stop moving their character for no reason. But they aren't lagging, they're typing. and spamming ?????????????? at everyone on the team especially if they're the ones who are feeding the most.
