So why do they keep giving assassins untargetable abilities?

I mean let's just make ALL BURSTS CHAMPS untargetable when they AA! TOTALLY MAKES SENSE AT THIS POINT!

Xayah (burst champ) Kayn Evelynn Zed RekSai (even if you somehow kill her before animation ends, you still get killed), Fizz Rengar (leap straight out of ult cannot be cancelled, still kills anyway) oh yeah and Ekko

Just watch as they make EVERY marksman and Assassin like this

xayah is not an assassin. zed, eve, and fizz were already listed. Kayne is the only one then.

Rengar isn't untargetable. That doesn't count at all. Resk sai is an assassin? LMAO!

I think you are blowing this out of proportion, especially considering during you can't deal any damage while untargetable in all of those phases making the ability a glorified dodge.

And yes Yi is one of the most bursty champs in the game with specific builds.

He's still not an assassin. He's a DPS champ that you can make bursty with certain builds, but you can also make malphite an bursty with certain builds.

An assassin isn't a burst champion, it's a burst champion with enough mobility to go in and out of fights quickly.

Untargetability seems to be the next big trend with Riot's champions.

Xayah Kayn Camille Evelynn Kled RekSai have all been released with, or buffed with, some kind of untargetability mechanic for some reason. This isn't even counting older champions with untargetability like Elise or Shaco .

Before this, it was invulnerability that was being handed out like candy. Bard Taric Kindred TahmKench Fiora Ekko (he actually counts as both though with his ult) It's almost like Riot decided "you know what, invulnerability isn't good enough anymore, we gotta make champions who can't even be clicked on at all!"

I fondly remember the days when Kayle's ult was unique in granting immunity to things. Now it seems like every champion that DOESN'T become invulnerable is obsolete. Sad times.
