and yeah. This champion is completely ruined. Like, i feel sorry for anyone who actually mained skarner before his rework. Who is responsible for this rework anyway? The spires are so boring, and basically FORCE you to play him in the jungle because the spires hold so much of his power.

What was the goal in his rework anyway? His kit still revolves around spam clicking q and e off of cooldown... Except you somehow managed to make playing him absolute hell.

Skarner is only worth playing in Poro King, since Snowball -> Dash -> Ult -> Poro King Recall is the closest reenactment of Skarner's old Ult + Fountain Teleport lulz-ery

I think he's also strong in TTL. TTL's jungle meta is different from rift but the spires being closer apart is probably why. I think there is even a spire in part of the top lane.

Last I checked anyway.

You talking before scruffy touched him? Back when his q was a aoe slow? Yea I dropped Skarner the moment Riot Scruffy touched Skarner.

I used to play a TON of skarner jungle and top before his rework. Id agree with you 100% that his current passive is more of a chore than anything. How to play against Skarner, dont fight him in his shrines. If your fight Skarner in his shrines you deserved that death in game. I would LOVE to see at the very least a new passive for Skarner, but i personally feel like Skarner could be soooo much cooler if he got a full gameplay and visual update. I looked back and read up on why riot rework Skarner, basically Riot didnt like how Skarner could 1v5, so they reworked him into a a piece of trash. Hope your hapoy Riot you accomplished your goal, but ruined Skarner, who is the last of his species. [zombie-brand-clap]

Ironically Skarner was really good immediately after the rework hit live, after which he was promptly nerfed into oblivion, since he had like a 58% winrate.

If at least he was able to create and place the spires...

Lot of Riot's reworks/mini-reworks are really to nerf champs... Skarner, Sion, Poppy, Katarina, Ryze, Rammus, etc. Most of them being unplayed after the rework...

I dont see any light to Skarner because Riot likes more a ruined champ than a successful champ that makes cry the people in the forum or play LCS without some unnecessary visual stuff, walking walls, movements, jumps, teleport, etc...
