Trinity Force Mana on Manaless champions

For champions like Shyvana Trinity Force comes as a recommended item in the store but a lot of people don't like it purely because of the mana attached to it and it does feel very weird to buy an item that has stats you can't even use. I was wondering if riot would be willing to do something for cases like this and convert the mana to something else for those champions (say, hp in equivalent gold or something or just like blue buff helps energy bars maybe it could help fury in some small way).

Considering the item is good on them even without the mana component (i.e. Trinity Force Shyvana, Lich Bane Akali), I doubt they will.

That's why they rebalanced Base ATK Damage.
All sheen items since they stack and increase the Base damage actually Balance thier gold value on manaless champions. But that's only true if the item is complete. You can't sit on mana crystal afterall

The problem is, adding mana calculations to ALL no-mana champs would just be needless work, you do know how many champs they'd have to do that for, right? (Including those who don't have it as recommended)

ZAC, Riven, Zed, Lee, Akali, Shyvana, Renekton, Vlad, Gnar, Mordekaiser, Shen, Kled, Katarina, not sure if I'm missing any others.

Using that same logic, some champs have AP bonuses in their kits but are legit AD champs. Why not remove the ap components completely? Sometimes I wonder what Riot is thinking on the build suggestions. Trinity force is a great item, but sometimes the mana does feel out of place, unless you are a nasus type champ who uses w, and e sometimes...

I'd say Trinity Force on Shyvana is good on her (even though I never build it on her) because it's can turn her into a bruiser. The Sheen proc on it hurts with her Q, which is an AA reset. I understand the Mana part, but sheen is just a good item on any champ that uses AA as their primary source of damage.

Slightly less gold efficient itemization is suppose to be one of the downsides of manaless champions. You got to pay for being resource-less somehow.
