I don't know if you've got much thanks yet but thank you. I can now enjoy games my team is losing again and I've even made a few comebacks too. It's a strange feeling to be able to enjoy a losing game again. Thanks. It lets me focus on my play and what I know the best thing to do next is to win the game and I can read my muted allies movements to decide what to do next without being made miserable if he disagrees. I ping mute anyone that ? pings on top of me and it's just made my games 10x more enjoyable thank you.

I've also noticed a STEEP decline in the frequency of this ping being abused now. Seems people don't do it so much now that they know you can mute their pings along with their text if needed.

At least in the games I've played, pings are being used for their intended purpose more than they were before. I've had to use ping muting a little bit, but not much.

I agree. There is no reason for a team mate to ping on you that enemy are missing. That is a sure sign of a troll, and muting them has made the game a lot more enjoyable and playable. After muting the trolls I know I can continue to paying attention to the remaining pings to work as a team, like they are intended to do.

I hope the muted player is notified their pings are being muted. Probably not, but it might help to teach them to not abuse the pings in future matches.

I agree I played one game since the new Ping Mute, team idiotically pinged on top of me got me killed because they didn't follow the proper rules for pings ( I just pressed tab, Muted both text & Pings of everyone) didn't have to mute my sound was a better experience.

I love the ping mute. Had a non-supporting support pinging the shit out of me and generally being annoying. Double-muted them. Wow that was nice.
