Promos are pointless when you lose so many because of AFKs.

It is absolutely ridiculous that I get handed a loss in promos when I have AFKs on my team. It's ridiculous that it happens so often in any game, but especially when this "series" is supposed to be TEH TROO TEST OF UR SKILLZ. Institute some kind of protection against late game AFKs/rage quitters or just get rid of promos altogether. What's the point? If people can win consistently enough to get 100 LP despite all the AFKs and totally bullshit matchmaking just send them to the next rank.

Will continue until they feel like balancing the game so it doesn't feel like draft = win/lose in every elo.

This means you would have to instantly demote if you lose at 0lp, which would be really demotivating. You could just as easily get griefed because other players see that you're on 0lp

At least when you do promote you're protected from demotion for a while
