Gnar is the best thing about top and should be prioritized more than anyone else there for buffs
I just fucking love Gnar so much. I love how he is in picked in every professional game and almost always picked in moderate to high elo Solo Q because there is no consequence to picking him whatsoever. He's just that badass compared to the lot of shitty bruisers and tanks that are deadlocked into a game of counterpicking. He is also both an exciting champion to watch (I squeal like a pig when I see Gnar hype rushing down some stupid ass tank with Frozen Mallet) and play at all times and, when top is in the dire state it is in as of 2018, he is the shining light there.
Even Riot knows this and I appreciate it so much. The way that when Gnar was not on the top of his game during S7 and Riot immediately buffed him? That treatment should always be given to the star of top lane when the likes of shitty bruisers and tanks ever, EVER threaten his place as the king. Top lane was at its worst when the likes of Ornn came along but were swiftly slain by Riot to give way for Gnar to rise up from second place to number one.
Gnar is the king of top and gives the lane hope.
with your boomerang and they just sustain forever in the minion wave so you get in auto range and they hop on you and delete half to 3/4 of your health bar because fuck you?
