Differences between Aurelion Sol hard to play and Yasuo hard to play?
Both of these champs are known as hard to play, but rewarding if mastered.

First needs brain, second body.
As Aurelion you're calculating your opponents movement 24/7, if you fail to do so or missclick you're basicly dead in some matchups. Besides that, Aurelion has to use his roaming power to make his team win the game.
A Yasuo doesnt need much thinking, positioning doesn't really matter as long as there's a minion or two. Playing him you need fast reflexes a trained muscle memory and a feeling for his timings to dodge/shield as many attacks as possible while landing as many Qs as possible. (And he kinda scales with Ping better than most others. x'D)
Sadly.. because Riot considers it antifun when 'outsmarted' but fun when 'outplayed' Yas is balanced around his Top15% of players while Sol around his Top5% (completely made up numbers, just for understanding) nulling any effort for Non-Mains to make Aurelion work! I loved this Champ on release.. and I still do... but if I have to play 10 games a day to crawl to a reasonable winratio... while learning the most horrible matchups League offers.. picking him up is just not worth!
While they both do pertain to a higher skill cap, Yas has lesser risk with higher reward, especially if played in lower elo games. Slap an early PD on him and his damage seems to skyrocket almost unreasonably. Meanwhile, Sol's popularity suffered almost wholely due to his skill cap. Yes he does a lot of damage, no, not many seem to know how to weaponize his kit properly, myself included. At the very least, not enough for it to not be considered a problem with him as a champion.
No. Your idea about Yasuo is massively flawed.
In low elo, people do suck terribly, yes, so Yasuo gets ahead. But he has to be really ahead for only PD to cause a damage spike.

You seem to have a rather bias and inaccurate assumption of both players and the champ itself. To each their own I suppose.
Sol is more balanced around the skill of positioning and planning. Yasuo is more balanced around the skill of fast reactions and split second decision making.
Different playstyles for different people.
Basically this, I played a lot of both and the difference is that Aurelion is a zone denial champion which shines in teamfights that stall in long fights and is able to set up a good engagement. Yasuo on the other hand needs a first engagement and a team mate to join him in the fight and is based around bait games.
Aurelion Sol is not hard per se his playstyle and kit just have particular weaknesses that can be exploited. He is basically a free kill for gap closers until he can build a rylai's. Sol is also easy to gank and very mana hungry early on in the game.
The main difference: One is flashy to play & has broad appeal. The other is Star simulator & is very niche.
One of them is actually fundamentally broken by design due to his extreme pushing power early game and the other is merely annoying and punishes poor fundamentals. Which one you think is which says a lot about you.
The whole Yasuo is hard to play thing is a myth.
